Final hike of the year and back down to Dún Chaoin on the Dingle Peninsula.

It was incredibly windy for the entire day, the speeds I quoted were again taken with my trusty Kestrel Anenometer, getting up to 60-75km/h. For most of the day I got alright shots but nothing really to write home about, but the final 30 mins,,, just wow…
It all kicked off and the timing for once worked out fantastically. It was all rather hectic when it happened. I don’t think i’ve ever cleaned the lens so much after every blast of shots the cloth came out, just glad I didn’t lose it in all the commotion. It was all just amazing, You can see in the video i’m a bit flustered walking back to the carpark.

Where I was at, I had the place to myself, so I could run around like a headless chicken trying all manner of shots. So lucky to have had the place to myself…. So lucky….

Thanks again for reading this if you’ve dropped by,

Ed

Here are the images from the end of the video

Parked at the Blasket centre where we start and finish at. It’s a nice looped walk around 5km with some spectacular scenery.
