The Rut

Watch on YouTube

Had a really enjoyable time getting these this year.

The first section in the video are from out around Mangerton and Muckross. There was one big stage in a. field of 18 hinds.

The middle part of the video, and the main section, is from Knockreer. There are a few different sections to Knockreer, all within close proximity to each other and it’s nice to give a bit of variation to the shots.

Finally, the last few are from around Derrycunnihy and are in the Killarney video.

For all the shots and the footage I used my EOS R6 MK II and a RF 800mm F11. Overall, i’m incredibly please with the quality. On a few of the images I used the Lightroom Noise Reduction tool and it’s simply awesome. A few pics I didn’t use noise reduction on and one in particular is around 10000 iso. On a computer screen or a laptop you’d be hard pushed to see it without pixel peeping ,,, at least I can’t..

Hope you enjoy the images ,
Ed

(Very last one can be used as a phone wallpaper, at least i’ve been using it since I took the shot)
