Ballaghbeama Gap

Another non video blog post. This was actually the day before the Lough Avoonane post.
Went for a drive up the Black Valley, I’d never before driven up it, and having seen a location the brother took a shot at one day while out cycling, I said I give it a go.

It was a fairly miserable early morning, flat grey skies. Found the location easy enough but there was a landrover camped up there blocking the place, so just gave it a miss. It was raining for most of the drive thru it, so just couldn’t be arsed trying to get photos where it was obvious there wasn’t any to be got at that time. Decided to head on a bit of an aimless drive, saw the sign for Ballaghbeama Gap, and said yep. I’d seen it from the top of Mullaghannatin when we did that hike previously.

While the weather was still not great, there was a lot more breaks in the rain, and it made for some nice photos.

I liked how these have turned out. If we didn’t have sheep to photograph, we’d be in trouble.

thanks again
