Outdoor Photographer from the North of County Cork in the beautiful Southwest of Ireland.

First of all, thanks for checking out this site, i hope you enjoy the images. I update the blog regularly and will will post more images from hikes on there too, ones that won’t appear on the main gallery.

Some of the locations photographed on this site are off the main tourist routes, most commonly visited only by hillwalkers and the farmers that own the land. There’s never any rush here, so you can really enjoy the landscape., take your time, stop and take it all in.

My main purpose for heading out is for photography, i don’t always return with something but when i do it’s just a great feeling. When looking back at the images later on i can remember everything about the shot, the area, the weather, the emotion of being in this often wild landscape.

I also have a YouTube Channel where I record my outings. Initially I just put clips together for myself but gradually began talking in them. The Dromavally video has my first attempt at speaking to the camera, on YouTube. There is a video prior to that one which will never see the light of day. I’m not naturally confident in front of the camera but i’m getting used to it and enjoying the process.
