Kerry Head
Kerry Head turned out to be a fantastic day on the South West Coast of Ireland.
I didn’t expect it to be bad or anything, I just didn’t know what to expect to be honest as it was my first time out there.
Have to say it was really beautiful and there is so much to see.
The video covered it all really with one exception, I didn’t mention where I parked. I did mention the North Kerry Way, which is where the path starts off thru, but then I headed down to the coast, which was all ok. I did ask the house at the cul de sac if I could leave my van around there and the lovely lady said yes, but I wouldn’t want to put it in a video. The main walk starts at Ballyheigue, but its a few KM to get out to where I was. I know this blog gets very few hits so putting it here shouldn’t be an issue, unless you are really interested in going there, in which case you may know already….
Here are the images from the day. I had a whole load of bird images and a whole segment in the video, but decided against keeping it in, it just didn’t work with the video as I wanted it to be. Could very easily have made another specific birding video with the footage. Something i’ve been toying with for a while, but we’ll see how the next while goes..
I mentioned about not being sure if we got light on the cliffs,,, not sure why I said that tbh, but as you can see in the images below,, we did. I left in one shot from earlier in the day, just to show how much light we did get. I could have done with a bit more time here so as to try different foregrounds, but happy how they worked out in the end. There was one upright stone on the foreground for sunset, the made for a great subject, but I just could not fit in into the scene properly. As I said, happy how they turned out overall tho
thanks for visiting again
