The Paps of Anu

Watch on YouTube

Fantastic weather for a hike up the visually distinctive An Dhá Chích.

If you’re coming from the north side, DO Not go where the sat nav maps might tell you. Sometimes they send you up by Shrone Lake, don’t. The road here is terrible.
Go thru Rathmore onto Barraduff, head over to Glenflesk and go back towards Cork. You’ll see a sign post for Clydagh Valley and Shrone Lake, take that one.
There is room for a number of cars at the trailhead. Google Maps

You can see in the video that, in good weather, it’s easy to get up there. Its still a good hike mind so please treat it accordingly, be sure and have enough water and the appropriate clothing.

The link with the info I mentioned in the video is here : Voices From The Dawn
